My one-year anniversary

Hey gorgeous!

Have you heard of The 100 Day Project?

"Every year, thousands of people all around the world commit to 100 days of creating. Anyone can participate (yes, that means you!).

The idea is simple: choose a creative project, do it every single day for 100 days, and share your process on social media using the hashtag #The100DayProject.

The next round starts on February 13th."

(from the100dayproject.org)

Last year I made a huge commitment and went live on Instagram for #the100dayproject and called it NO MORE PLAYING SMALL.

Yes, you read that right. I went LIVE on Instagram for ONE HUNDRED DAYS. 😬

And I would recommend The 100 Day Project to anyone looking to create a new habit that nourishes their soul or is in need of a creative outlet (and accountability).

Throughout the project, I shared why I was doing it, what I’d hoped to learn and then what I actually learned during it.

The things I learned came as a huge surprise to me.

And what came as NO surprise to me was when I started weeping during the final video because I was overwhelmed with love for the work I get to do.

Throughout #the100dayproject, I focused on personal & professional development, career growth strategy, and self-love. I also shared a meditation every Monday and danced every Friday.

I created three guides for you on Instagram for you to save:

It was amazing to see the beginning of the project and how uncomfortable I was on camera and see how it got increasingly easier to be on camera and I even started looking forward to it each day.

Are you ready to join the 100-day project this year?

It starts on February 13th. Sign up at the100dayproject.org. You can also follow my pal, Lindsay Jean Thomson, who is leading the project.

Need help coming up with an idea? Follow #the100dayproject for inspiration and see what tickles your fancy. Be bold. Get uncomfortable (or not, you do you).

Can’t wait to hear what you come up with!!

Rooting for ya, 📣

Nic

PPS. If you are afraid that you can’t do it for 100 days in a row. That’s a-ok. My 100 day project was supposed to be from Feb thru April.

It ended up finishing in July because I created parameters that worked for ME! I only posted on weekdays and I took a lot of days off for rest and recovery.

If you’re interested in doing something for yourself and are looking for an invitation (I’m kinda looking at you Human Design Projectors) this is it. Here is an FAQ from the website.
