you’re gonna love this, my friend!

Three years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter, I finally GOT boundaries and why they're important.

I had heard about boundaries before then but didn’t really understand what they were and of course, my people pleasing tendencies and guilt ran deeeeep which as I bet you can imagine, made boundaries hard to uphold.

Looking back now, I realize that whenever I was trying to set a boundary I’d either just let it slide the next time it happened (and get resentful) OR I’d cry about it and want to vomit (and end up not even trying to create a boundary).

Since then, I learned how important they were at work, with my husband, my family and finally my daughter.

Most importantly for me, how would my daughter hold good boundaries if I couldn’t hold my own (or hers!)?

When my clients start creating boundaries at work they start seeing massive shifts in their personal life as well.

Boundaries around daycare pick up, working out, time off, lunch breaks, working hours, etc. become easier.

Three years ago there wasn't as much talk about boundaries as there is today.

Now I’m so thrilled that more and more folks are sharing their experiences and realizing that boundaries are good for all of us.

That's why when I was asked by my (new) BFF, Melissa Boggs and host of podcast, Wild Hearts At Work to talk about Boundaries on her podcast, I jumped with joy!

We jumped right in, laughed a lot (obviously!) and got down to the basics and the most important things you need to know in order to start adding boundaries at work (and at home). ← especially if you’re a new mama!

We also talked about how managers can support their team to hold their own boundaries (probably my favorite part of the conversation).

This episode is the perfect introduction to boundaries at work, which when used regularly can change your life immensely.

Whether you are new to boundaries or have a strong boundary muscle, this is a wonderful place to start.

LISTEN TO IT HERE!

I hope you enjoy it!

Love + TGIF!!!
